# Leads

> Send a buyer's request to the dealer, with consent.

`POST /v1/leads` with `kind` (`quote`, `callback`, `finance`, `insurance`), `buyer_name`, `buyer_phone`, optional `buyer_pin` and `vehicle_ref`, and `consent: true`. Consent is the person's explicit agreement that Truckaurbus shares the details with the dealer; without it the call fails. The lead goes to the nearest dealer of the vehicle's maker by email; the dealer accepts with one click, and the response time feeds the dealer's public badge.

Your key's prefix is recorded as the lead's source, so a dealer sees the enquiry came through your app.
