# Limits and tiers

> What each tier includes and how the counters work.

Two counters guard every call: the day's total (resets at midnight UTC) and the minute's burst. Free-tier traffic is also capped per client address across accounts (200 a day, 20 a minute). Each returns `429` with a plain message.

Prices carry a `price_kind`: `maker` and `dealer` figures are stated; `reported` is a public band; `estimate` comes from sibling variants. Show the kind when you show the figure.
