GET /v1/machines?q=&machine_class=&manufacturer=&weight_min=&weight_max=&power_min=&power_max=&price_max=&sort=&limit=&offset= returns total, hits and facets. q is typo-tolerant. Listing rows summarise the best figure as price_from_inr, price_to_inr, price_kind and price_as_of; a machine without a published figure has price_from_inr null, and the site shows “Price on request” for it.
One machine
GET /v1/machines/{slug} is the sheet. Prices carry source_kind (maker for an ex-works figure, dealer, reported, estimate) and observed_at; the rules from the Prices guide apply, and a machine’s maker figure is ex-works, never ex-showroom. launched_at is the maker’s launch day when known. lifecycle tells on_sale from discontinued.
The cost an hour
GET /v1/machines/{slug}/cost?hours_a_year=&diesel_inr= returns what the machine costs its owner for every hour it works: ownership (the price over its working life at the class’s resale), fuel at the power’s burn, the operator, service by the hour, and the total, at the hours a year you pass (the class default otherwise) and your diesel price. Every line names its assumption, so show the assumptions with the figure.
What operators say
GET /v1/machines/{slug}/ratings returns the month’s score per pillar (fuel an hour, uptime, service reach, operator comfort, parts prices, resale, attachments) with the count of voices behind it; a pillar under the five-voice floor is marked provisional. As with vehicles, the comments themselves, their platforms and their links stay on truckaurbus.com.

GET /v1/machines/attachments?kind=&manufacturer= lists the attachments register (buckets, breakers, couplers, rippers and the rest) and GET /v1/machines/attachments/{slug} is one attachment with its sheet and the machines on the register it fits, by class and carrier weight. GET /v1/machines/{slug}/attachments answers the question the other way round.
